Rajasthan B.Ed & Integrated (B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed) Admission Process
For all students aspiring to build a successful career in teaching, the B.Ed (2-Year) and Integrated B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed (4-Year) courses in Rajasthan are excellent choices. Admission to these courses across various colleges in Rajasthan is conducted exclusively through the PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test).

Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for any course, it is mandatory to verify your eligibility. According to the guidelines set by the Government of Rajasthan and NCTE, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
1. For 4-Year Integrated B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed Course
This course is designed for students who wish to directly enter the teaching profession after completing their 12th grade. Pursuing this integrated course saves students one academic year.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th (Senior Secondary) examination from any recognized board.
- Minimum Marks:
- A minimum of 50% marks is required for General Category students.
- A minimum of 45% marks is required for OBC / SC / ST / EWS / PwD categories.
- Stream: Students from the Arts stream are eligible to apply for B.A. B.Ed, while Science stream students can apply for B.Sc. B.Ed.
2. For 2-Year B.Ed Course
This course is intended for students who have already completed their Graduation or Post-Graduation degrees.
- Educational Qualification: A Graduation (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com) or Post-Graduation (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com) degree from any recognized university.
- Minimum Marks:
- 50% marks in Graduation/Post-Graduation for the General Category.
- 45% marks for OBC / SC / ST / MBC / PwD (Reserved Categories).
- B.Tech / B.E. Students: Engineering graduates with a specialization in Science and Mathematics must possess a minimum of 55% marks to be eligible.
Admission Process
Admission to B.Ed courses in Rajasthan follows a highly centralized and transparent procedure. The primary steps are outlined below:
- PTET Entrance Exam Application: First, the candidate must visit the official PTET website to fill out the online application form and pay the required examination fee.
- Appear for the PTET Exam: All applicants must appear for the State-level entrance examination (PTET), which is conducted offline (OMR-based).
- Result & Merit List Declaration: A few weeks after the examination, a scorecard is released displaying the candidate's secured marks and state rank.
- Online Counseling & College Choice Filling: Candidates must deposit a counseling registration fee of Rs. 5000/- and log in to the online portal to submit their preferred college choices in order of priority.
- College Allotment: Colleges are allocated by the university based on the candidate's merit (PTET score), category reservation, and the preferences submitted.
- Document Verification & Reporting: The candidate must pay the remaining admission fee (approximately Rs. 22,000/-) online and physically report to the allotted college with all original documents to secure their admission.

- Copy of PTET Application Form & Admit Card
- PTET Allotment Letter & Scorecard
- 10th and 12th Board Marksheets and Certificates
- Graduation / Post-Graduation Marksheets (For the 2-Year B.Ed course)
- Aadhar Card (or any other valid government ID proof)
- Caste Certificate (if applying under a reserved category)
- Domicile Certificate (Mool Niwas Praman Patra)
- Recent Passport-size photographs
- Original Fee deposit receipts (Rs. 5000/- counseling fee + Rs. 22,000/- admission fee)
